As the global kombucha market continues to expand, a rising beverage brand in New Zealand is planning to scale up its production capacity to meet growing market demand. While searching for an equipment supplier, the brand sought a partner capable of providing food-grade, safe, stable-performing, and customizable brewing systems. After extensive comparisons, they ultimately chose Tiantai, a manufacturer with rich experience in fermentation equipment, to jointly develop a 1,000 L specialized fermenter tailored for kombucha production.
Throughout the project, Tiantai maintained close communication with the client, including detailed discussions on technical drawings and suggestions for adjusting kombucha-specific process parameters. Tiantai designed and manufactured a complete 1,000 L kombucha fermentation system for the client.
Equipment Features:
· High-quality stainless steel construction: Ensures corrosion resistance and food-grade safety.
· Precise temperature-control system: Jacketed design and temperature-control components keep the fermentation process within the optimal range, improving production stability.
· CIP (Clean-in-Place) system: Reduces manual cleaning time and enhances hygiene standards.
· Kombucha-optimized structural design: Adjustments to gas exchange, insulation, and internal mixing to better suit the fermentation characteristics of SCOBY microorganisms.
· Customizable ports and piping layout: Optimized based on the client’s facility layout and future expansion plans.

The equipment was completed on schedule and shipped to New Zealand. We look forward to seeing the client produce even better kombucha beverages. Moving forward, Tiantai will continue to prioritize technology and quality, providing high-end equipment and services to the global beverage and fermentation industries.
